Best Test

Union Rubber, Inc. (Best Test) is a company rich in history and tradition.  Our headquarters are located in Trenton, New Jersey, and we have been manufacturing a well known line of consumer adhesives and solvents for over 90 years.

In 1919, Union Rubber, Inc. was founded as a distributor of products that made the way from the oil fields of Bradford Pennsylvania.  The Trademarked logo was originally designed by a few of the founding fathers.  Our early distribution was in the Northeast, especially New York City.  Best-Test was the overwhelming choice of the commercial artist, draftsman, advertising agencies and art teachers.

“It all started with a little red can” and Best-Test White Rubber Paper Cement and its distinctive logo was introduced in 1923.  To this day it continues to be the Paper Cement of choice for the professional artist and serious crafter.

The Company has come a long way since then and today features a line of adhesives and solvents.  Union Rubber, Inc. and the Best-Test brand are proud to be trusted names that consumers have grown to rely upon.  Throughout history, the company has continued to progress based on it’s commitment to quality, client loyalty and ability to offer fast and courteous service.
