IBDAA @ AUB, or the International Biodiversity Day at AUB, is an annual poster forum organized by the Nature Conservation Center to celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB). IBDAA gives undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to participate in a serious academic poster forum, have their work evaluated by field experts, and possibly go home with one of many tempting prizes.
For its tenth IBDAA celebration, NCC has chosen to commemorate its decade of celebrating biological diversity by selecting the theme “Imagine, Create, Act: Protecting Nature’s Journey”.

Liquitex Launch Event Beirut 19.06.2015
The Liquitex Official Launch Event took place at Zaitunay Bay in Beirut, Lebanon where 8 of the most talented Lebanese Artists presented Live Painting Acts on big canvases (200cm x 150cm).
Liquitex is a company that supplies art materials, focusing exclusively on the development, manufacture, and distribution of acrylic paints. In 1955, Permanent Pigments, a company founded by Henry Levinson, created the first water-based acrylic paint, along with the first acrylic gesso. That same year, Levinson decided to reorganize the company under the name “Liquitex”. In 1956, the company starting selling “Soft Body” acrylic paints. In 1963, “Heavy Body” paints were available with a thicker consistency. The company offers the largest number of acrylic paint products in the world.
Liquitex was the first water-based acrylic paint created in 1955 and since then Liquitex has partnered with artists to ensure that the brand continually evolves and innovates –resulting in a long history of acrylic innovation. Liquitex offers the largest array of vibrant acrylic paints, mediums and tools to enable acrylic artists to continually explore their art and take it to new and unprecedented boundaries.
